Text to video generation for the meme where “Jackie Chan fights in an Ikea, throwing parts at each other, and when the fight is over, they have assembled the furniture.” Run locally using ComfyUI and MiniMax H3.

This was a one run build. It’s not without faults but the realistic background with the 2d animation on top of it was well done and really seemed to represent a sense of humor with the instruction manual checks throughout. Of course, “Instruction Manual” could have been spelled correctly in the render. The sound effects and music also worked together well. The art was acceptable with the movement but you definitely see Jackie’s face is not rendered well when you look at individual frames.

The final prompt:#
Style: 2D Hand-drawn anime, high-quality Japanese animation aesthetic, fluid motion, vibrant colors, expressive facial features.
Prompt: A 14-second 2D anime sequence set in a bright, modern IKEA showroom. Jackie Chan (in his iconic outfit) and a black-clad Ninja engage in a high-octane, slapstick martial arts battle. The fighting is a mix of acrobatic Jackie Chan-style stunts and exaggerated comedic physics. They are frantically hurling wooden planks, chair legs, and Allen keys at each other, causing debris to fly everywhere. The camera is a handheld, shaky-cam POV of an observer hiding behind a shelf. Mid-way through, the fighting turns into a frantic, synchronized assembly; both characters are grabbing parts and slamming them together to build a minimalist table. In the final 2 seconds, the camera pulls back slightly as a human hand enters the frame from the bottom, lifting a paper instruction manual. The camera focuses on the manual to reveal a crude stick-figure drawing of Jackie Chan and the Ninja in a mirrored “fighting” pose with a table between them, perfectly matching the characters’ current positions in the background.
Storyboard Outline (14 Seconds): Time Visual Action Camera/Movement Audio/Vibe 00-03s The Opening Clash: Jackie and the Ninja collide in the center of the aisle. Jackie performs a spinning kick while the Ninja deflects it with a wooden plank. Shaky Cam: High energy, fast cuts, following the movement of the fighters. Fast-paced Taiko drums and “whoosh” sound effects. 03-07s The Furniture War: They begin hurling items. A chair leg flies across the screen; Jackie dodges it with a comical “scoot,” while the Ninja gets hit in the head with a box. Shaky Cam: Tracking the flying objects; chaotic and immersive. Slapstick “boing” and “thud” sound effects. 07-11s The Accidental Assembly: The fighting rhythm changes. Instead of hitting each other, they both grab the same set of parts. In a flurry of motion, they begin frantically screwing and hammering a table together. Shaky Cam: Stabilizing slightly as they focus on the “construction.” Rapid-fire hammering and clicking sounds. 11-13s The Final Pose: Both characters freeze in a dramatic, mirrored martial arts stance on opposite sides of the newly finished table, looking exhausted but proud. Slow Zoom: A slight push-in toward the characters. Sudden silence / Dramatic “shing” sound. 13-14s The Meta Twist: A human hand enters the bottom of the frame holding a white booklet. The camera focuses on the “Instruction Manual” page showing the stick figures. Static Focus: The camera stops moving to show the manual clearly. A light, comedic “ding” or “slide whistle.”
